Excited to announce that we are qualified by ODAŞ for “Parameter tuning & tests of Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) & Power System Stabilizer (PSS) of Çan 2 Thermal Power Plant (TPP).

We will collaborate with JT Systems Power Engineering (Mr. José Taborda) in the project as usual.

Proper tuning of parameter settings of the AVR & PSS of the plant will ensure positive damping (or at least prevent negative damping ) to both local (~1Hz) and inter-area (~0,15Hz) oscillations to contribute improving stability of the Turkish power grid.

DIgSILENT StationWare is a central software platform for managing all the processes in protection coordination of the power grids including relay coordination design / implementing relay settings / setting amendments / preparing work orders, etc., in a systematic way.

We are thrilled to announce our new project with SHURA Enerji Dönüşümü Merkezi: “Impact of Locational Marginal Pricing (LMP) on Türkiye’s Power System: Accelerating Renewable Energy Integration”.

The study will investigate a mid and long-term roadmap for Türkiye concerning the need for moving towards the locational electricity pricing (LMP) concept. The study will show how the electricity network gets under pressure by proliferation of renewable energy resources and under such circumstances, how the networked constraints should be considered in the electricity market clearance procedure.

We are thrilled to announce our new project “Modelling and Weak-point Analyses of Balkanabat Distribution Grid – Turkmenistan” with Çalık Enerji.

Like many distribution companies (DisCo) in Türkiye, AKEDAŞ Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (DisCo) preferred EPRA Energy for integrating its Geographic Information System (GIS) with DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Python based algorithms developed by EPRA enables AKEDAS DisCo to report errors in GIS model (if any) and transform the GIS model to DIgSILENT PowerFactory model ready for grid analysis automatically.

Our R&D Director Saeed Teimourzadeh will be panellist at the report launch event of Shura Energy Transition Center (SHURA Enerji Dönüşümü Merkezi) on July 10, 2024 (10:30-12:00) for the study “Transportation Sector Transformation: Integrating Electric Vehicles into Türkiye’s Distribution Grids” which modelling and analysis of grid impacts of electric vehicles are performed by EPRA Energy.

Within the scope of our ongoing Grid Master Plan project with MERAM EDAŞ (DisCo), we held a productive workshop with EPRA Energy and MERAM EDAŞ project team in our EPRA Ankara office.
