Feasibility Study Caspian Green Energy Corridor Project linking Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to European Power Markets

The project, which is supported by Asian Development Bank (ADB), aims to enhance regional power exchange, improve energy security, and optimize energy distribution among the three countries.

The role of this potential interconnection project would contribute to the integration of larger solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind capacity in both regions – South Caucasus and Central Asia – and increase bilateral trade capacities considering the new European Green Deal and allowing to provide competitively priced reserves for those intermittent sources of electricity.
