Grid Connection & Grid Code Compliance Studies for 144 MWh Pasewalk BESS Project

We are pleased to announce that EPRA Energy has been selected by INTEC Energy Solutions to carry out the grid connection and grid code compliance studies for the 144 MWh Pasewalk Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Germany.

The assignment covers a comprehensive range of power system studies required for the safe, reliable and grid-compliant integration of the BESS:

• Load flow study
• Reactive power capability assessment
• Short-circuit study
• Protection coordination study
• Power quality study
• Insulation coordination and transient overvoltage study
• Earthing calculations and lightning risk assessment
• Grid code compliance analysis

This assignment further strengthens EPRA Energy’s international experience in battery energy storage integration, grid connection engineering, electrical system design and grid code compliance assessments.
