Lithuanian Power System Island Operation Study

Scope of this study includes; Test on-site turbine governor systems, PSS, AVR and to analyze possible negative action of PSS-s and AVR-s of the Lithuanian power plants; Model preparation and validation to identify technical requirements for secure and reliable operation of the Lithuanian power system during the test; Frequency stability and dynamic stability analysis for identification of necessary measures, operational limits, and parameters (settings) to ensure stability of Lithuanian power system operating in an island operation mode; Guidelines for Island Operation test; Provide recommendations for the Lithuanian Power System test.
