Progress meeting of “TAŞELİ RENEWABLE ZONE – Grid Connection Analyzes” project, which we carry out together with the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TÜREB), is organized at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Türkiye.

Malatya Turgut Özal Üniversitesi is now among the universities in Türkiye which has DigSilent PowerFactory Research License.

We participated to the workshops with Laos Delegation organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Ankara, Türkiye, and discussed:

  • Best practices on power grid planning and rehabilitation requirements for hosting large scale renewable energy resources,
  • Improving secure power export capabilities,
  • Recommendations for prioritizing new transmission/distribution projects for secure, reliable and resilient energy to all customers.

We are excited to announce our new project: “Green Energy Corridor”. Scope of the project is to assess the potential of clean energy production and exchanges Caucasus/Europe and design the related infrastructure considering technical, economic and regulatory aspects.

We are excited to announce that EPRA Energy is qualified by TAURUS ARM for the protection coordination analyses of Bazian II NGCC Power Plant. Scope of the analyses includes settings of protection relays at the high voltage substation and the power plant auxiliary system.

As a member, we participated to press launch of the Energy Storage Systems Association (EDSİS) in Ankara on 27.12.2023.

We are excited to announce our new project: “Differential Protection of Underground Cables based on 5G Technology” with Boğaziçi Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. We will explore performance of 5G technology for differential protection of underground cables to overcome inverse time current protection coordination challenges particularly at those power distribution systems which have intense underground cables, like the Istanbul city.

We are thrilled to announce our new project towards energy transition in Azerbaijan. Aligned with our mission, we will provide engineering solutions both at power plant level (i.e. local control) and AGC level (i.e. centralized control) for reliable, sustainable, and affordable transition of the Azerbaijan grid.

We provided DIgSILENT PowerFactory advanced user training to ARAS DisCO engineers on 14-15 December 2023.

Within the scope of the “Distribution Network Investment Optimization” project, we held a workshop at Gdz Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (DisCo) on 04-05 December 2023 regarding; 1) Econometric demand projection techniques and algorithms, 2) Regional demand development S-curves calculation techniques and algorithms, and 3) Modeling of the calculated regional demand projections in DIgSILENT PowerFactory for grid planning analyzes.
