Research Project on Hazardous Conditions in the Electrical Distribution Networks

The project aims to detect and classify hazardous conditions that may occur in electrical distribution networks, and to analyze their root causes in order to develop both preventive and corrective measures. The ultimate objective is to enhance personnel safety as well as the operational reliability of the power system.

Business Models, Regulatory Framework, and Implementation Roadmap for EV Smart Charging

The study will investigate the degree of complementarity between variable renewable energy sources and EVs, as well as the flexibility potential of smart EV charging and how this potential could benefit from the implementation of smart charging by 2035 and 2053. It will discuss how EVs’ potential for grid flexibility could evolve in both medium […]

National Dispatcher Training Simulator Development Project (YTES)

In the scope of the project, a national Dispatcher Training Simulator (YTES) will be developed in cooperation with Eltemtek. The YTES will include a real-time dynamic simulator in SCADA resolution and an operator interface. DIgSILENT PowerFactory will be the dynamic simulator engine.

Development of a Grid Connection Assessment Tool for Distributed Generators

The Project is funded by Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) of Türkiye under the R&D Support Program for Electric Distribution Companies. Scope of the project is to develop a decision support platform for distribution companies in Türkiye to investigate impact of distributed generators (DG), particularly PV solar, to distrbution grids.
